New dates for the BTM Puglia 2022. The new dates are from 6 to 8 April, always in the new location in Taranto.

The climate of uncertainty, due to the worsening of the covid-19 pandemic and the new, more stringent rules for traveling to Italy and participating in events, has led the organization of BTM Puglia, one of the main b2b events promoting tourism in southern Italy, to postpone the seventh edition of the event, initially scheduled for 2 to 4 March 2022, by a month. This is what the organizers let us know and then continue:land new BTM dates Puglia they will therefore be from 6 to 8 April 2022. However, the location does not change: Taranto, the city of the two seas, a destination which in its recent history of post-industrial relaunch is intertwined with the key contents of the new edition of the Apulian event which they see the sustainability of tourism as a choice that can no longer be postponed and the strong point of the restart of incoming in the valorisation of less well-known Italy. A vision summarized by the theme chosen for the 2022 edition: #GreenPeople2Action which aims to give concreteness and content to what has so far been a widely used word, but which more rarely translates into concrete behaviour.

Nevio D'Arpa, CEO of BTM Puglia"We knew that it would not be easy to organize an international event with the health emergency still ongoing and for this reason we were ready for any eventuality. Given the worsening of the situation, we believed that the safest choice for exhibitors, buyers and visitors was to postpone BTM Puglia in spring, trusting that the new season will allow for a more peaceful event with fewer restrictions for participants".

The three-day formula has also been confirmed in which there will also be three locations to frame the event: the Taranto Officers' Club, the Taranto Non-Commissioned Officers' Club and the Orfeo Theatre. The Officers' Club will host the Expo areas, the BTM Lab destination management workshop, the thematic section dedicated to BTMinLove wedding tourism and the conference rooms where events, workshops and in-depth focuses will take place. The Petty Officers' club will instead be the headquarters of the thematic section dedicated to BTMgusto food and wine tourism and of the B2B meetings between buyers and sellers. Finally, the Orfeo Theater will host the Main Hall of the conference and training part with the main events expected by the public.

In this seventh edition, BTM 2022 wants to increasingly present itself as a beacon of attraction for incoming tourism Puglia and in southern Italy, giving foreign operators and sector journalists the opportunity to discover some hidden corners of this region up close. The postponement goes precisely in the direction of allowing participation in the presence of the foreign public, thanks to a rich hosted buyer program which will allow selected international operators to discover the Puglia on a 4-day fam trip and meet the Apulian exhibitors at the fair in the b2b matching scheduled at the NCO club. BTM Puglia aims to be a delicious opportunity for all tourism operators in Southern Italy to meet "at home" those who distribute the Italian tourist product abroad and cannot participate in Exhibitions internationally in the rest of Europe.

BTM Puglia is organized by the events agency 365 Giorni in Puglia srls which has been offering a tourism model based on professionalism, digital training, innovation and hospitality for 7 years. Today BTM Puglia aims to return to the widely recognized international event that it was pre-pandemic: the February 2020 edition hosted 3 thousand visitors, 16 exhibitors, 175 international buyers and 80 expert speakers in 155 days.
