The seventh edition of. will be held from 19 to 21 May 2021 in Taranto BTM Puglia, one of the main events in southern Italy for tourism operators.

Location
There are many new features in this new edition, starting with the location: the event is moving from Lecce a Taranto and will be held in three distinct structures to better manage the flows of people, in compliance with distancing rules: these are the Orfeo theatre, where the main hall for debates and training contents will be set up, and the Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers clubs of Taranto , which will host the exhibition part, the thematic areas and meetings between buyers and sellers.
Education
The pride of the event is certainly the program of conferences and training contents which, for the second consecutive year, is drawn up by a scientific committee made up of expert professionals and tourism teachers. “New Vision” is the theme that will act as a common thread during the moments of debate BTM 2021, a topic that wants to highlight the way in which to rethink the tourism of the future starting from sustainability, tracing a real change of direction from bulimic and selfish tourism towards one that becomes more respectful of the Planet and Man.
Social Media Tourism
BTM 2021 will also host two events within the event: the Social Media Tourism, a training event on social media marketing for tourism, which will talk about the theme of the "traveling destination". In such a complex 2020, the tourism market also had to face the difficulties of operators and companies destinations to maintain its appeal in the eyes of a "tourist who isn't there". Hence the need to continue the narrative by making the destination travel through the stories of best practices, projects that will open the doors to a renewed tourism season, but also to an unprecedented role for the territories.
BTM OFF – Hospitality Future Training
The second event is “BTM OFF – Hospitality Future Training”, curated by the digital agency Titanka!, which will delve into the topics of web marketing for hospitality facilities, from data interpretation to website optimization, from Google campaigns to revenue management.
BTM between the lines
The format will be confirmed in the program “BTM between the Lines”, presentations with the authors of books and manuals on tourism aimed at tourism operators who want to increase their skills in the fields of Hospitality, Digital Marketing and Innovation. The program, much appreciated in the 2019 edition, will also be expanded to include presentations of guides and travel stories.
Thematic areas: taste and in love
There are two main ones thematic areas into which the event will be divided:
- With BTM Gusto producers and operators of food and wine tourism will talk about themselves through the food, emotions and culture of the territories to answer the question: "What does happiness taste like?"
- With BTM in love, fundamental in an area like the Puglia which is positioned as the second wedding destination in Italy after the Toscana, training activities and B2B meetings will be proposed between international sellers and buyers, wedding planners and bloggers fascinated by the offer of the Apulian territory.
