Nothing fair in presence, therefore, also for the BIT of Milan whose 2021 edition, postponed from February to May, will be held in digital format for the first time. With a press note the fair di Milan announced the change of course due to the well-known events linked to the uncertainties of the pandemic.

Bit Milan, the International Tourism Exchange, will be held for the first time in digital form, renewing the event dedicated to the world of 360-degree travel with completely new methods.

The decision was made after listening to the market and comes from a careful evaluation of all the possible solutions, closely linked to the situation we are experiencing. This is a highly innovative edition, full of opportunities that arise from the possibility of business meetings between operators, thanks to the new functionality of Expoplaza, which is part of the new platform developed by fair Milan.

Bit Milan in digital form it will be held from 9 to 11 May. Following, the event will extend its edition with another three intense days dedicated to consumers and the promotion of the 360° tourist offer. The digital version of Bit 2021 will thus double its duration with a subsequent extension of the proposals developed by exhibitors on the platform.

Operators present on the platform will have the opportunity to come into contact with potential buyers and thus be able to access the rich calendar of training and information events, which have always distinguished Bit Milan and which will address highly topical and useful issues for the relaunch of the entire tourism system.

This rich schedule of meetings, aimed at professionals in the sector, will constitute the heart of the webinar programming that will be held under the editorial direction of Carlo Antonelli.

Bit 2021 will be strongly oriented towards promoting all the proposals that the sector has developed and put on track for mete distant, but with a focus on tourism in our country, which will play a fundamental role in consumer choices for some time to come.
