"The results of the survey attest to the deserved success of the Puglia as the most popular destination for Italians - comments the Councilor for the Tourism and Cultural Industry, Loredana Capone - They tell us that Italians, who after years of difficulty, want to start enjoying their well-deserved summer holidays again, want to spend them in Puglia.
They also confirm that all the work done so far by the Region and Pugliapromozione continues to bear fruit. They encourage us even more to seize this long positive wave, thanks also to the hard work of these months of weaving the Puglia365 strategic tourism plan, to lay the concrete foundations for innovation actions, construction of the tourism product Puglia, reorganization of governance, reception, promotion and training for the next ten years. I am sure that Apulian tourism entrepreneurs will meet this desire for Apulian holidays, offering the best possible relationship between the quality of the services offered and the cost for the public, despite the difficulties that businesses have been and are forced to face. We believe that this return to holidays, which began last year, must be supported and indeed relaunched for businesses, for the people of Puglia, for the economy of the region".
