Il tourist village in the trees it is found at claut, locality of the Valcellina inserted in Friulian Dolomites Natural Park. A similar experience, of camping with tree houses it also exists in Val Pusteria, in Trentino Alto Adige.
The name of the Friulian village is Tree Village and consists of very nice houses built on trees, all obviously made of wood and, to be precise, of fir.
The minimum height at which each house is placed is 2 meters from the ground, while the maximum is 4 meters from the ground. Inside each accommodation on the tree, a maximum of 4 people (two adults and two children) can find space and they will sleep in sleeping bags already provided. In short, it will be like being on a campsite but you will sleep on a tree, being able to count on a rich breakfast served outdoors in the morning.
It is already possible to book yours holiday package in the tree village: an overnight stay with breakfast, plus a typical dinner and excursions (including one by bike, with free hire) costs 179 euros per person for adults, while children pay 79 euros.

All services and needs will be taken care of by the nearby Hotel Miramonti. If the experience of sleeping in the top of a tree doesn't appeal, the Tree Village in any case, it remains a theme park with a certain charm: you can still organize a visit and excursion here, even if you stay overnight in the Hotel Miramonti itself.
