easyJet: sports equipment
You can purchase one sports equipment allowance per customer. You can purchase a maximum of six items per single online booking – even if there are more than six passengers. It is possible to combine the total weight allowances for sports equipment and hold baggage, provided that the weight of each individual item does not exceed 32 kg. (For example: If you have a total weight allowance of 52kg, you may be able to bring checked baggage weighing 31kg and sports equipment weighing 21kg). There are two classes of allowance for sports equipment based on size:

How to transport a bicycle with easyJet
You can bring your own bicycle, but it must be packed as follows before being placed in the hold:
- The bicycle must be stored inside a bicycle case or bag
- Only one bike is allowed inside each case/bag
- The handlebars must not protrude from the frame
- The pedals must be removed or not protrude from the frame
- The case/bag cannot contain other items (e.g. clothing)
We strongly recommend that you deflate the tires and pack the bicycle in a rigid container, where it will remain protected during transport. It is not possible to transport electric bikes.
easyJet, musical instruments
In the cabin. The instruments that can be transported in the cabin must have dimensions less than 30 cm x 120 cm x 38 cm and be stored in the upper compartments. Violins, violas, flutes, piccolos, trumpets and horns fall into this category and each instrument is counted as carry-on baggage. It is not possible to reserve a seat for small instruments because we are unable to securely lock them onto the seat. If you are carrying an instrument as your only hand luggage and the case is not large enough, you can bring a small piece of luggage free of charge to fit under the seat. A musical instrument, such as a cello, can be brought on board, but an additional seat must be purchased. If you prefer, you can place the instrument in the hold by purchasing a hold baggage allowance.
To reserve a seat for the musical instrument, you must add a passenger to your booking and use 'Mr Seat Cello' as the passenger name. For safety reasons, musical instruments can only occupy window seats and the maximum height allowed, including case, is 110 cm. I hold. Any instrument larger than 30cm x 120cm x 38cm such as a double bass or harp cannot be brought on board as hand luggage. You will need to add these items to your booking as checked baggage. Make sure they are packaged appropriately and safely. Before departure, we recommend that you purchase specific travel insurance for your musical instrument.
