It means that all passengers will have the certainty of being able to bring a hand baggage into the cabin with storage in the upper compartments or - another hypothesis - under the seat in front of their seat. This will be guaranteed provided that the 50x40x20 cm dimensions are respected.

However, in the case of luggage measuring within the permitted 56x45x25 centimeters, nothing will change regarding the free transport but it could happen that, in the absence of sufficient space in the cabin, your trolley or bag could be collected by the staff for boarding in the hold , always free of charge.

Even at present, it may happen that you arrive at your seat and realize that the space in the overhead bins has run out, so this innovation will not lead to any disruption to boarding operations.
However, the airline has decided to make the procedure relating to the accommodation of the aircraft easier hand luggage, always guaranteeing space in the cabin for those who fall within the aforementioned limit of 50x40x20 centimetres.
