The 2018 edition of will be truly extraordinary Arezzo City of Christmas the long-awaited calendar of events wanted and organized by the Arezzo Intour Foundation with the Municipality of Arezzo and the Confcommercio of the province of Arezzo which, from next November 17th to December 26th, will dress one of the most beautiful historic centers in Italy with magic.
Among the most anticipated new features is the "Christmas village" which will be set up at "Lawn", the green area that dominates Arezzo. The big one will come here Ferris wheel (30 meters high with rotating cabins) which will allow you to admire a breathtaking view. Around the wheel it will be possible to skate on one ice rink circular of about 120 meters, while geodesic domes shaped igloo will host a children's area and a ice bar giving thrills of fun to adults and children. Also in Prato, a further geodesic dome will host a planetary inside projections dome tent theater. A large one will also be set up here Lego village: 400 square meters of exhibition, exhibition and pick&build workshops with the possibility of creating a construction to take home with the famous bricks.
They return to Piazza Grande Christmas markets. In front of the Vasari loggia the magical atmosphere of the building will be recreated Tyrolean village, the largest in Italy outside the borders of Tyrol, with its 34 wooden houses and the large hut where beers and exquisite typical dishes will be served, from dumplings to spaetzle and polenta. On Thursdays it will host dinners with a Tuscan-Tyrolean fusion menu, while on Fridays the more informal aperitifs with DJ sets. A lot of Christmas-themed objects will be on sale at the stands, coming from operators from the main European Advent markets such as Salzburg, Frankfurt, Bolzano or Trento. Inside the Palazzo della Fraternita dei Laici House of Santa Claus will offer workshops for children and the opportunity to take a photo with Santa Claus. There will be some at the weekend events such as the parade of over 100 characters from the most famous Disney fairy tales (Sunday 18 November), the Xmas Circus street art festival (Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 November), the collective launch of 5 thousand colored balloons in Prato (25 November), the gathering of cosplayers dedicated to the Disney Princesses (Saturday 8 December) and the flight of the "Christmas Balloons" from Piazza Grande (Sunday 9 December). Don't forget the guided tours to discover the historic center of Arezzo, thanks to the special itinerary "Arezzo and the magic of Christmas", and the projections of lights “Big Lights” and the Christmas video mapping in Piazza Grande, with two events on Saturday and Sunday (at 17pm and 17.45pm).

The effort to enhance the Prato area with permanent attractions that will be open every day, for the entire Christmas period, goes in the direction of motivating tourists to come and visit a city that allows you to experience a unique Christmas in Italy. The billboard we present today is the result of collective work that sees the Arezzo Intour Foundation and its members at the forefront: we are convinced that events like this are an unmissable opportunity to promote the city and give new energy to the entire economic sector of the area ”.

On the occasion of Arezzo Città del Natale Atam spa has foreseen that from 8 to 25 December the Mecenate and Baldaccio parking areas will have a cost of 1 euro for the whole day for all users.
And during the Christmas period the whole city will be animated by bright attractions, markets selling typical products, themed displays, concerts and shows that will create unique and unmissable atmospheres, blending wonderfully with the artistic and cultural heritage of Arezzo.
